Winter is around the corner!
Don’t wait to plan your winter outings,
Teens to Trails has teamed up with Winter Kids and Black Mountain of Maine to create a fun outdoor day, designed with your Outdoor Club in mind.
Sunday, March 2, 2025 at Black Mountain of Maine 9am - 4pm
Join Teens to Trails for an afternoon of downhill skiing at Black Mountain of Maine for FREE thanks to Winter Kids. The first 50 students will receive a free 2- hr lesson, rentals, and a lift ticket. Registration will open in November!

The Maine Play Book
This handy resource, written by Teens to Trails’ staffer Jen Hazard, provides year-round outdoor activities in Maine for all ages. Divided by season and region, this book makes it easy for your Outdoor Club to find ideas for local trails, skating ponds, outdoor events and new discoveries! Many of the suggestions are free or low cost. Find your copy here.
Roberts Farm
Location: 58 Roberts Road, Norway, ME
Roberts Farm is a multi-use trail system for hiking, snowshoeing, and cross-country skiing. When there is snow, they have up to 7 miles of groomed trails. Their warming hut is open Monday-Thursday 1-4 pm, Friday 1-7 pm, Saturday-Sunday 10-4 pm.
Friday Night Lights will be from 4-7 pm with their new solar light installation. Headlamps are encouraged.
Pineland Farms - Sledding Hill
Location: 15 Farm View Dr, New Gloucester, ME
Pineland Farm offers FREE sledding from dawn until dusk daily… did we mention that this hill is groomed for optimal speed?
Bring your own sled or rent one of theirs for $5.
